Day 01: PUNO \u2013 UROS \u2013 AMANTANI<\/b><\/p>\n
The excursion begins with the pick up from the hotel from 7:45 am to go to the port where we will board a boat that will take us first to the floating island of the Uros with a visit of approximately 1 hour. In order to appreciate their way of life and the demonstration of the construction of their Islands and have free time to explore, take photos and take a short ride on the typical raft. <\/span><\/p>\n Later we continue our trip in the boat to the Island of Amantani arriving at approx. 1:15 pm, where they will spend the night in the houses of the families sharing their experiences of their daily life. Arriving at the Island, the guide organizes them in small groups for the lodging and food in the typical houses of the families, after the accommodation and lunch a member of the family will take them to the group meeting and with the guide, to then take a walk to its Pre-Inka PACHATATA AND PACHAMAMA ceremonial center. This Island has a population of approximately 4,000 inhabitants divided into 10 Quechua and Spanish-speaking COMMUNITIES and they still preserve their ancient traditions, the main activity is textiles and agriculture, the island has a magnificent panoramic view of the sunset and is a place of positive energy and meditation and at night we will have a visit to the folk club in gratitude for the visit.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Day 02: AMANTANI- TAQUILE \u2013 PUNO<\/b><\/p>\n After breakfast we meet again at the port of Amantani to take our boat and later we continue our trip to Taquile Island, where the inhabitants still keep their culture alive, this island has a population of approximately 2000 people and is divided into 6 SUYOS \"communities\" inhabitants of Quechua and Spanish, the families still practice the \"AYNI\" which means reciprocity \"TODAY FOR MY TOMORROW FOR YOU\" developed a community work, the help is mutual between families, their main activity is agriculture cultivate; potato, quinoa, oca, etc. and they are also experts in the art of weaving thanks to the fabric that they make.
